Coastal Ridge has developed a thoughtful Environmental, Social, and Governance strategy, to create meaningful change and tangible results for our investors, employees, residents, and communities in the following areas.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment and increasing our resiliency in the face of climate change. We continue to assess our energy consumption to identify areas for reduction, are actively working on introducing portfolio-wide recycling and water diversion programs, are in the process of developing procurement guidelines, and are creating resident and employee programming to drive environmental impact awareness.

COMMUNITY IMPACT

We believe in strengthening our bonds and building meaningful relationships with the communities we serve. By fostering both local and national partnerships, we’re able to leverage our size and scale to develop community outreach programs and initiatives. Additionally, each full-time team member receives eight hours of additional paid time off to use when volunteering with an organization of their choosing.

HEALTH & WELLBEING

We consider the health and wellbeing of our team members and residents when developing programming for them to engage in. Coastal Ridge has identified four pillars to build our health and wellbeing offerings around – physical and preventative health, mental health awareness and advocacy, financial wellbeing, and personal development and career advancement.

DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION

We are dedicated to building a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive company. To do so we continue to measure and benchmark our company against key DE&I metrics, as well as develop training programs for our team members to take part in, and assess and improve our recruiting processes to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
